For instance, Sulphur is required for the uptake of Nitrogen and Copper. If Sulphur is deficient, Nitrogen is locked up and inaccessible to the grass. Similarly, a high level of Potassium can inhibit Magnesium uptake. The list is almost endless! Soil PH is also crucial and alkali/acidity imbalances prohibit healthy grass and encourage weed infestation.
