SPRAYING
Weed control is often a major problem. A well managed pasture should not need spraying under normal circumstances, with the grass out-competing the weeds for available space and nutrient.
However, spraying is very effective in regaining control when severe weed infestation has overrun a pasture. The downside is that many beneficial plants and herbs such as dandelion and yarrow are not resistant to the herbicide. They can be reintroduced at a later date though.
